About IELTS


The International English Language Testing System(IELTS) is a standardized English proficiency test for non-native English speakers. There are two versions of the exam: Academic and General. The Academic version is for test takers who plan to study in an English speaking country and the General version is for test takers who plan to work, train or migrate to an English speaking country. The IELTS exam is accepted by most American, Canadian, Australian, British and New Zealand academic institutions.
